Factory front bumper/brush guard

Just picked up a factory front bumper for my 2016 grizzly 700... it didn't come with installation instructions. At first glance looks like I need to remove a few of the original plastic fenders on the front... I can see where it mounts on the lower frame... but the upper mounts seem to be covered... going to install tomorrow... I'm sure I'll figure it out but any tips to help streamline the Installation process tomorrow from someone who already installed this on their bike.

Thanks in advance

The front brush guard should have come with instructions. I found the instructions that came with mine and scanned them in. The file apparently is too big to attach to this message. So, here is a link to the file:

Hope this helps!

That's awesome Pjniez... Thanks... I'm sure I'd have figured it out but it's nice to read over it first just to speed up the process. 🤘✊👍

Not to revive an older thread, but do you know about how much that guard weighs? Deciding if I want to add this to the grizz, but weight might play into the decision.

Not very heavy, will block the headlights just a little, has good light mounts to make all better, aftermarket lights are cheap now.

My info is getting dated, only applies to signature machines

It's not very heavy... you have to remove existing front bumper rail and plastics... so over all not much added weight. I really like the new brush guard helps protect the fenders when going through tight trails.

Hi, new here and long time watching. I installed one also and it looks great imo. Protection is nice since it goes around the front fender a bit.

I read somewhere that you have to totally remove the winch if you have one installed, in order to install the brush guard. Is this true?

I have the Yamaha branded Warn ProVantage 2500 winch and I didn't have to remove it to install the brush guard.
