Garage
We will need pictures to see what your taking about.

Did you find metal in the screen in the drain plug? If so, was it aluminum shavings or magnetic metal?

My vote is a crankshaft bearing!

the stuff that was found in by the plug was all magnetic, and the oil filter had softer stuff that deteriated in my hands. i had it running before i did oil change and it drove and didn't sound bad. the clutch seal seems to be fucked as well.

Not have worked to much on these much but with a basic mechanical understanding. A crankshaft bearing failure will cause the crankshaft to rotate in a wobble instead of smoothly. The wobble then messes the seal up as the craftshaft bone is connected to the clutch bone.

The magnetic material you found would be the bearing casing or a piece of it atleast.
