Anybody put a 2" lift on a 700 Grizz with Elka's on it?
Lost clearance and I'm not thrilled about it. The ride is amazing, but the clearance is suffering for it.
I asked Elka and they have not tested it....so I'm reaching out to my GC Brothers...anybody do this?
Muckboy I do not see it as an issue. Since this will put you back to about the height as stock. You shouldn't have CV issues are anything like that. I would say go for it.
I would agree with Mack on this one. Since you have lost clearance, your axle angles should be less than stock. Putting in a 2" lift should only increase the angles slightly over stock. If you decide to go with one check out the Rubberdown Customs lift, I really like the look of this one. If you poke around their website you can find pics of one installed.
i think i have a local shop doing a custom 4 inch lift for the grizz, with arched contral arms, seems like a good set up, i seen a couple on a brute
