My son has a 2011 700 grizzly. We are rebuilding the engine top to bottom now. It needs new clutch shoes. .my question is Has anyone ever just changed out the shoes instead of the whole carrier. I can get some caltric shoes for 70 bucks. Is this a good idea or hell no. If not any recommendations on decent priced wet clutch. My drum has slight grooves that I was told is normal. Plan on reusing that. What do yall think about all this. Thanks
Here is my wet clutch drum from 4000miles ago. Still going strong. If your looks like mine, then yes it is normal wear and reusable.
