  1. Soft rear brakes

    Grizzly Chassis & Body
T Rev, the bolt that has the hole in it allowing fluid to pass through? You say you noticed when bleeding the line.... what exactly did you notice? This seems to be an issue with Yamaha brakes and I don't feel good about the fact that we can't find a concrete answer as to why all of our brakes...
  2. Rear break job

    Grizzly Chassis & Body
I have all four corners ordered (pads and rotors) from Race driven. This will be the second time I've done my brakes, first time was just pads. Mt brakes were to soft for my liking so I am doing the rotors this time in hopes of improving the firmness of the brakes. Last time I did the fluid...

  5. What is your long term opinion of the Yamaha Glide Plate?

    Grizzly Chassis & Body
Question: is the "Glide plate" that much better than the stock plastic skids? I'm still running the stock and feel as though it is doing it's job. I try not to bottom out sometimes it's unavoidable but I try.
  6. Zillas got me out......

    Grizzly Tire & Wheel Combos
They weigh more than my old XTR's did, I wanted a tire that wasn't quite so heavy. I did love my XTR's but I wanted to try something different. I think I want to try a set of Original Big Horns next. The Zillas are a good mud tire but they ride rough. Most of my riding isn't in tons of mud and...

I wired my two led's to the high beam switch. I am happy with the way it works.

...to a road that is.. So my gf and I are 23miles from the truck and I get a flat, no pump! She and I rode that thing 20+ miles completely flat! Very rocky terrain hilly, mudy.. We rode to a road and got rescued, By the time we got to the road the tire was off the rim (obviously) when I got...

My suggestion is to only do one change at a time, that way you can see it's effects.
  11. Performance Upgrades

    Grizzly Engine & Transmission
welcome to GC. I would install a stiffer secondary spring(you won't loose top end) then go from there. I recommend only doing one thing at a time so you can see how it effects the performance. Unfortunately what you add to the low end effects the top end.... keep us posted.

    Grizzly Engine & Transmission
I will have to do some research because I'd like more power but I can't compromise on reliability! I'm thinking new topend. I don't really want to do the crank./ Connecting rod. I'm pretty sure there are some pretty good set ups out there I just need to do some research, I'd like to eliminate...
  13. New here

    Grizzly Engine & Transmission
Welcome to GC, what do you have for clutch work? I THINK the tires you have are quite heavy. You will need some clutch work ie: (stiffer secondary spring, lighter weights...).
  14. in preperation for an overnite ride

    Grizzly Talk
so I'm back from our trip, had an absolute blast! 140 miles of all kinds of riding, mud, rocks, technical, dirt roads, board walks an absolute blast. The grizz impressed me yet again, not one hiccup the whole way. The grizz hauled me and my gf over some crazy terrain and didn't skip a beat. I...

So the '14s are supposed to have more hp in the low end because of the new head design, right? Does anyone know if that head would fit on my '07? If it would fit would it give me more low end hp? Just curious:happy:
