Product: Remote Control W/ Improved Contactor
Manufacturer: Moto Alliance
Product Rating: 9/10
Purchase Date:
Purchase Price: $0.00
Purchased From: Manufacturer
Purchase Rating: 8/10
Description: I was tired of my winch contactor (solonoid) crapping out every time a drop of water hit it. Regardless of dielectic grease usage, they still crapped out. I picked up a wireless remote with a *NEW* contactor. Wireless remote was Star Track looking and I quickly realized that I needed a remote control winch like I needed another kidney stone! The *NEW* contctor was well made and all, but it is hyst too big to fit anywhere I have room for it. I put the old style under the hood and I hope for the best now.

The Yamaha Grizzly is the Best of the Best. I spend my hard earned $$$ on my Grizz because this is my sport, my hobby and my passion.

Modifying your Grizz may sound good, but you will never get back what you put into it when selling it, so when you Mod your Grizz, it's because you want to have a better ATV, not because it will be worth more one day, just remember that!

Enjoy my garage.....and feel free to leave comments of PM me with any questions!

Manufacturer: EBay Purchase
Product Rating: 10/10
Purchase Date:
Purchase Price: $0.00

Installation Cost: $0.00
Installation Rating: 5/10
Comments: Installing is a matter of taking all of the staples out and taking off the old cover. Then putting on the new one. Problem is that you need to get the right length staples AND you need a more powerful spring in your staple gun than most have. The plastic in the seat itself is very hard so the staples go in just a little. Nothing like having to use a hammer and screwdriver on 100+ staples!

Product: Front Suspension Compression/Rebound/Preload)
Manufacturer: Elka Suspension
Product Rating: 10/10
Purchase Date:
Purchase Price: $0.00
Purchased From: Elka Suspension
Purchase Rating: 2/10
Description: "What are they like?" is the most common question.
It's like driving a German engineered car or a FORD around a corner at speed. The ride is like a Caddy or a Nissan riding over a uneven road.

Is it the BEST modification I have made. No!
However it makes the cornering much easier and the ride much smoother. No fatigue at all at the end of the 81 mile ride yesterday.

Not worth the $$$ for the weekend warrior.
Everybody else claims it's the best mod they made. That only because it was the most expensive oner and they need to justify their purchase cost by saying so.

I wouldn't go back to OEM....but I also wouldn't suggest to anyone to buy them unless you race or jump with your Grizz.

Nuff Said.

Neither Gorilla nor Elka has ever put a lift on Elka's before, so I'm the test subject here.

I will post another picture soon after I have them anodized. The grey they came in will not fit my camo/black/candyapple red combo :-)
