You can't replace the upper control arm balljoints on a Grizzly 660. They are welded in and can't be purchased seperately. You must replace the whole control arm.
Only the lower control arm ball joints are replaceable on a 660.
Follow this link to Coleman Power Sports. Should take you to the Trail Tamer 500. Many of the frame and suspension parts are the same as Grizzly 660. I replaced both of my front upper a arms on mine. As a bonus the ball joints are replaceable They come with new bushings but you need to purchase the ballpoints separate and install yourself. http://shopping.na3.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.3546502/sc.27/category.34047/.f
I can only confirm it fits my 2004 660. The 660 model was made from 2002 to 2008. If Yamaha upper a arm part numbers are the same for all year models I presume it will fit your 2005
I have a 16 Kodiak. I had to replace an axle boot. Everything went fine except for the tie rod end. The ball joint looking part where it goes into the Hub. I can't tighten the nut to 17 foot pounds because the whole thing just spins. Am I missing something obvious? Appreciate all your advice.
Hey folks, has anyone had experience with warranty replacement on the shocks and wheel bearings on their grizzly/kodiak? I looked at my machine last night and found three out of four shocks leaking oil, and I'm 99% sure I have a front left wheel bearing going out. My question is I'm wondering...
So I think this is the right place to post this. I am looking for a rear gusset plate to hold a diff in place on a 2010 grizzly 700. I found two websites went searching but none of them look legitimate. The diff is not broke yet but the mounting holes are definitely gouged a little.
