Ok guys and gals just did my valve lash .013 in .018 ex put the ole gal back together and it runs like crud. Spitting and sputtering. Before doing this job in park while givin her some gas she was and is spitting and sputtering. Someone told me the stator is bad and I should replace the cover. Is there a fix for my cover? And could u steer me in the right direction for the fix.
