Hey there, had a buddy slot my diff mounts for me, was ripping around the yard and the diff mounts snapped and caused the diff to turn up and munch my driveshaft lol, I have a new driveshaft but I’m not sure how to go about fixing my diff mounts to ensure this doesn’t happen again, thanks in advance.

I guess my first question would be why did you feel the need to slot them.
Well I definitely didn’t do it for shits and giggles. I did it for the same reason everyone else does so that the driveshaft doesn’t slip out. When I got the machine it was quite used and the front driveshaft was in the belly pan, for some reason it just kept popping out under torque. Had my diff mounts slotted and it never fell out again until the mounts actually broke. It was -30 degrees celcius when they broke. I’ve seen a hundred different threads saying the same thing that they’ve slotted the mounts just not broken and most guys recommend it because it’s a common issue. So I guess my first question is why are you asking silly questions?
