Hello- I'm new here and new to 4 wheelers but not new to mechanical things. In reading my manual it talks about checking differential oil and final gear oil. I suspect that the differential oil refers to "front differential" and final gear refers to the "rear differential". Is this correct or am I missing something? If I'm correct the only other thing that would hold oil is engine crankcase. Any information to clarify the manual would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You have it correct, the "final drive" means Rear Diff.

And you don't need SAE 80W oil like the manual states.
Any 80w90 GL4 or GL5 (Hypoid) gear oil will do. Personally I like to use 75w90 Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil.

Similar to Dezz I run any full or semi synthetic 75w90 that has either GL-4 or GL-5 listed on the bottle.

The reason the rear diff is actually called a final gear is because that is a more accurate term for it. It's not a differential because both rear wheels always turn at the same speed.

Here's a cool video:

The only other fluid you have to be concerned with on your Grizzly is antifreeze.

And lastly, you may want to spend some time googling ultramatic cvt maintenance. How many miles are on your new to you machine?
