2008 grizz seat

I cannot open the seat storage area is there a special way to do it? lift up - push down - or pull out?????

I don't know if the 2002 is the same as yours but there's a small lever (if I can call it that) at the back of the seat. Just pull up on it and the seat should follow.

2008 what? They made the 660 and 700 and a few other Grizzly models then. My 660 has a small tab on the back of the seat that you lift then lift the back of the seat and pull toward the rear to get the seat off. I am surprised you are having trouble. Good luck!

Edit: I can't believe it's two of the newer guys with '02 660's to the rescue! Lol!

If you’re referring to the storage compartment under the seat, just pull on the lid straight out.

Mine is difficult to remove. Every time I open it, I think to myself what a terrible design for a lid. Wrap your fingers around the edges and just rip it off.

As said above. There’s s plastic tab on the center of the back of the seat. Lift the tab and pull up on the back of the seat at the same time. This can easily be done with one hand. Be sure you get it locked back in correctly when you put it back on.
