Hello,

I have a 2009 Grizzly 350, it runs well (as far as I can tell) it's fast and seems to have plenty of power but I'm trying to see if there is any maintenance work it needs apart from the air filter (I replaced it) and oil change. I've checked the brakes and rear ones need new pads. I can do basic stuff but engine work is out my league.

I've recorded the engine sound cold and warm - maybe someone with a good ear and experience can say if it sounds "ok"? Just looking for an opinion before I take it to a mechanic so I know what to expect in terms of work needed.

Thanks for your help!

Hard to tell from video sound but it sounds like you need a valve adjustment and try changing the spark plug. If that don't fix you're problem the maintenance never hurts and it's cheap.

Sounds normal. The air cooled motor are noisy by nature.

You could verifying your valve just as normal maintenance
