I've currently got it stripped to the frame to repaint it 🥺🥺
A lot of work but it will be worth it

 

I think you stole it at that price, even fixing the engine won't make it break the bank.

Great deal and congrats. I'm just curious though on how it still runs with a blown engine.

 

Well good question, so, it ran but it just sounded really bad. It was pretty loud and it was hard to pinpoint the source of the noise. I knew if it was running hopefully it wasn't too bad. That being said i was thinking the one way clutch bearing until I checked compression and it was 70 psi. I pulled the engine and popped the top end off and the piston and connecting rod are pretty sloppy so I'm hoping the noise is just from the slop? I haven't split the engine yet but when I do I'll know more about it.

 

And the coolant looked like coffee and it did burn oil the little I ran it. I also suspect a blown head gasket because of the coolant but the oil did look fine so hard saying.............................
