The radiator fan is not coming on causing an overheating issue. I did a direct connect from the battery to the fan, fan works. I checked the power to the coolant temp sensor and couldn't find a hot line, the manual isn't much help. Any suggestions on where I go with this? Welcome from Colorado.
How did you know it was hot?
The warning light from the engine sensor?

There is coolant in the system so the engine temp sensor can work.
I haven't got a 450 and haven't had this problem, but look for a dirty connection on the fan wiring. Or trace the wire and look for a rubbed/bare spot grounding the wire.
Look in the book for a fan relay/fuse.

My 09 450 did this. I ended up cleaning the connection where the wire harness plugs into the radiator temp sensor. That fixed it.
