I am new here and a rook when it come to mechanical stuff.

I have a 2014 Grizzly 300. It has less then 10 hours on it.

This weekend when I went to start it, it would not turn over.

I would push the button, it would try to start, but not "ignite or catch. Pressing the gas switch did not help.

We took out and cleaned the spark plug. It still would not turn.

I have only used ethenol free gas, so I do not believe it is the carb.

But, that is the extent of my knowledge.

PS-I made sure the petcock was "on.":peace:

Did the engine actually turn over? Did you hear a clicking noise?
Might just be as simple as a weak/low battery.
If gas is the issue, then you will need to remove, dismantle and clean the carb, then design gas tank and replace with new gas.

I guess the best way for me to describe it is it would not catch. I would push the button it would make the normal sound, but not catch and ignite the engine.

I keep it at our hunting camp. I will charge the battery this weekend to make sure it is getting enough juice.

How did it "try to start" and "not turn over"? On my 450 the problem is I have not done something routine like not having it in the right gear, the kill switch is on, the key is off, not pressing brake. Rock the bike front to back to make sure it is actually in park. Is the choke on? Does it help to have it off or partially on?
