help... I installed the 1mm shim and a purple spring in the secondary. problem is I seem to have a lot less torque now than ever. the primary runs in and out as it should running with the housing off. seems fine at higher speeds but when I want the low end torque it barely moves with load.

I pulled this apart twice now and stopped on a steep hill it will not go or even seem to break the tires.

More then likely you dropped a weight or two out of their channels while reinstalling your primary movable sheave
