Are the factory skid plates and underbody protection adequate? It seems a lot better then the can am outlander XT thin plastic crap.

I have an outlander XT in order that I'm putting iron ballistics plastic on in place of the cheap factory protection.

Just wondering if the Grizzly also needs to be upgraded.

Its just added protection for your investment getting aluminum skids, the plastic factory skids are so so for protection, with no floorboard protection, many owners upgrade to full aluminum skids, I went with the factory Yamaha aluminum skids for the perfect fit, had to order floorboard protection from the aftermarket though and just use the factory plastic a arm cv boat protectors with no problems so far, Ricochet brand skid plates alot of owners buy these with good results and are cheaper than the factory ones with very good quality.
