First off, new to the forum here and a first time Grizzly owner. I just picked up a 2023 Grizzly XTR yesterday. Not crazy about the tire and wheel combo. And for the price you pay, i wish yamaha would give some options. I'm sure most if not all of you know, but it comes stock with 27x10x14 Maxxis Zilla's and 14" wheels. Anyway, i'm not super knowledgeable on tire/wheel combos so i have a few questions i'm hoping to get some insight on:

1. If i were to sell the tires and wheels as a set, what could i expect to get? I can find general pricing on the tires, but i can't find any info on the wheels as far as make and model so i have no idea what they would be worth.
2. Pros and cons to running a "square" setup vs a wider tire in the back and narrow tire upfront? I'm not an aggressive trail or mud rider so i don't think i would notice a difference. Just curious if there is a benefit to one or the other
3. thinking i want 12" wheels with 26" tires, but how do i know what wheels to get as far as offset and all that? is that even a thing with ATV's? Or can i buy any 12" wheel?
4. can i run a 9", 10" and/or 11" wide tire on the same wheel? whats the range on tire width for a wheel?

I'm sorry if these sound like dumb questions, but tires and wheels aren't my area of expertise so any knowledge that can be shared would greatly appreciated.
**Side Note: i did ask the dealer for a tire swap and he said he didn't want the Zillas, so no. Said nobody wants them so he wouldn't be able to sell them.

I got second set of wheels for more of hard pack dirt and summer time riding. I kept my factory wheels for more of the snow and mud in the winter. In order to run 12s on a 23 you have to change out or remove the guards on the back side. The factory rims I believe are 5+2 offset that should give you an idea as far as offsets for other wheels. The rims I got for my new tires are 5+2 offset as well. I just think that looks best with the 23. The summer tires I chose were Sedona ridge saw tires. The size was 9x27x14 and there actually a tad bit taller than the grizzly factory wheels. They're all the same size so I can't comment on different sizes front to back.

So I can run a 9" wide tire on the factory rims? Of the the few different tires I've looked at, it seems 27x10x14 is not a very common size. Seems to be more 9" and 11" options then there is 10".

Where are you located?

On the few rides I've been on, I have had no issues with the Zilla's.

I've been running 12"x7" with a 5+2 offset for many years, with many sets of 26" 8ply tires on them. ITP and STI both have these wheels. You must get the 4x110 bolt pattern.

Wondering why did you buy the XTR? I believe the Grizzly ESP has 12" wheels and tires.

I sold the tires and rims off my 19SE for $400. Then I used my existing 12" bead locks and bought Pitbull tires with that cash+ a little more.
You should be able to sell the Zilla set for a decent price.

I should add there are many rim manufactures out there. ITP and STI are just the ones I have personal experience with.

Bought the XTR mainly because of availability and color. The EPS model only comes in baby blue and camo and wasn't a fan of either. And if I could've found a camo one, I might have but inventory is scarce. Also, I need a winch for my plow and I do like the color scheme of the xtr.

I’m in NJ if you’d link up half way we could work something out on the wheels. Don’t necessarily need the tires but it all depends on what you’re asking. I also have these 14” ITP hurricane wheels with the Maxis Zilla tires on them in factory sizing that I would evenly trade off my XTR, then you could just go find whatever tires you like and sell the Zilla’s. These have a factory stance with the 5+2 offset. They have 0 miles on them, haven’t had a chance to get out yet this season. I’m free most mornings this week and the weekend
