Got it road licensed today... this will get me the lime green plate and a revised title when that shows up. I tried getting 3rd reg for snowmobile trails but licensing office couldn't do it and had to reach out to state...after 20 minutes on hold I told them ... for another day... let's just do WATV today. I figured with this only being on books for 9 months not everyone was in the know.... and also at an urban license place where even further reduced chance of seeing much of this request.

I have both windshields you showed. The first one is the yamaha oem, and the second one the VIPAIR.

Both take long to install for perfect fit, so either one you take assume a few hours for installation.

The yamaha oem is more flimsy by far than the VIPAIR, but can be removed and installed in a matter of seconds, and the brackets are very small when not having the windshield on.

The VIPAIR is much stronger, fiberglass built. Personally looks better too. Negatives are that you have to remove 6 screws to uninstall and you are left with big brackets and two supports. This is pretty much a permanent installation IMO.

Yours to choose. both are quality.

It will probably be taken on and off quite a bit so that alone might steer me toward the Yamaha. The VIPAIR looks nice though. I'd probably have to take my road mirrors off if I put the VIPAIR on as I see it has it's own.

@Vincent - any chance we can get a picture of the brackets with the Yamaha windshield removed? Trying to see where they attach to the handle bars. Looks like the mount point is down low and out of the way?

I want to install hand guards for warmer months when windshield isn’t needed, but wondering if mounts will be in the way.

How are your cable ties holding up under there? I’m going to install a street legal kit pretty soon, so getting ready to place a few orders online.

Used a rubber grommet on left side of storage for wiring to exit. I reached out to a Youtube poster who said he didn't have any wiring issues with exposed so I may have went overkill

I will be closely monitoring if anything I have done isn't holding up to the heat

Here you go. They are low and for the most part, out of the way

Nice!. I know from my own experience that it takes a long time to locate all that info even with the factory maintenance manual. This goes for any Grizzly 700 made since 2016 until the present, I believe?

Sorry... I'm not sure if everything is exact on pre-'19 years.

I noticed on mine it took 2 quarts and 12 ounces versus 2 quarts 7 ounces suggested in documentation to get my fill into the safe area on the dipstick.

Mine had filter 5GH-13440-61 on it and replaced with the same one.
