Those are some wicked looking meats!
I love em... for me and where I ride, they’re a bit over kill and would love to be able to get a set in 27-28” for 12” rim. I love a tire with massive lugs just don’t need huge diameter.
Not that huge doesn’t look cooler, I’m just scared to break stuff. Ha

If they made em in 28's I would have gotten them. They only make 30 and above. I'm sure I'll break a few axles lol

I’ve seen a guy run 30s and never break a thing. It was a polars 700 as well. Lol.
He drove very careful and only went with 30s for snow clearance and a smoother ride over rough trails due to larger tires not falling in the smaller holes between rocks.
It’s all in the connection between the seat and the throttle lever.
Ha.
Enjoy the new tires, they’ll make your grizzly look bad a$$

Wow, just.....Wow!!!
One of my favourite Mud Tires made today. I just wish I could afford them.
Update?!?!

Ive got a 17’grizzly. I have 30x9x14 silverbacks on the way. Have you had any issues with yours? Pros and cons?

overall i really like them.. pros are that they pull in the mud extremely well, clean themselves out well and look awesome

cons are they are a little heavy so you will have to do some clutch mods and they ride a little rough on pavement which is expected
those should clear stock height. i have 30x10x14 all around on my stock height '17 no issues. as other people are running that size too
Keep it in low, and avoid lifting it if you can. A little fender scrub is nothing compared to destroying diffs and axles. Plus lifts compress the suspension more wearing out your shocks sooner and making the ride rougher.

Even Elka's? Cause he either has them or they are still on the way...
I would think on any shock. Cant see how more compression could be a good thing. I run the stockers cranked all the way up to clear my tires and i think theyll wear out sooner because of it. Anyways I put a 2" lift on my bike and while it was up in the air on the jack the tires were extremely hard to turn by hand due to the suspension angles. That scared me enough to stay away from lifts. With weight on it rolled fined and who doesnt like more gc but everytime the suspension decompresses all the way to have that binding seems like a bad idea. I ride on 2 wheels way to often for that.
In my 10 years of owning 3 different grizzlies I have never heard of this being a problem and def never experienced this issue and I have had lifts and elkas on every single one. In my opinion it’s a non issue but to each their own

Hey brotha, I have a 17 grizzly and I'm thinking about 30's. I read your post, are you saying, that you have 30's as well and you dont have a lift kit, that the 30's will fit with no problem?
