The wet clutch is starting to slip on my 2000 600. I see a ton of info on the 660 but not much on the 600s. If someone has a link to a nice step by step procedure for replacement that would be awesome. Otherwise what should I expect? How difficult of a job is it? Any tips or trick would be appreciated.

Pretty much all the Yamaha wet clutch replacement procedures are the same. So the 660 will be the similar (if not the same) as the 600.
Wet clutch replacements are not hard to do. A little of work....but not difficult.
