I adjusted my air screw on my carb and it was not running well after I went for a ride. I noticed a weird sound when I turned it over and figured out that the screw had just fallen out. I looked all around and actually found it down below in the plastic skid plate. Put it back in and viola.... Runs great. Has this happened to anyone else? I read somewhere I could put a "little" lock tite on it. But that just seems weird.

If you're referring to the idle mixture screw, they very often have a small compression spring on them. I've never heard of one falling out. Might have been screwed out and a tad loose (probably running very rich at idle) to begin with. I certainly wouldn't LOCTITE it in.
