660 clutch and diff stuff

I'm just getting back in the grizzly game. Just rebuild the front diff and need to work on some more things.

My clutch was making some nasty noises this last weekend. Mainly during engine braking. Going to replace my 1 way bearing and inspect wet clutches. Also going to replace my belt and weights along with rebuilding my rear diff.

Was looking for advice on new greaseless weights.

1 way bearing. Stock vs aftermarket.

Diff rebuild kit.

Belt. Gates 29C3596 or try to get 3.45 belt.

I have a coop 45 modified primary with no shim and my belt rubs my belt box.

Thanks for any and all advice!!!!!

Glad you're back,
Start with determining your current ratio, that will tell us a lot. Your belt should not rub with only the machined primary.
Many members only recommend using an O.E.M. belt, the others are damn near worthless under most conditions.
I can't help with the weights as I still use stock weights.

I have been running a gates belt for longer than I ran the stock belt. The gates rubs less than the stock belt but the one I'm thinking about getting advertises less stretching. My belt only rubs on very heavy loads. Thinking the belt is stretching. But would be awesome to get the latest info on the 3.45 to 1 ratio. I was right at 3 to 1 back when I setup my stuff years ago.

I also had a battery, stator, and/or rectifier issue last week. The battery is a hand me down odyssey and was taken out of a friends car about 6 years ago because it did not start it very well.
I had some major issues at night. I couldn't run light and it got so bad my gauge pod went out and in couldn't get my diff lock to work and the fan was having a hard time keeping things cool. After all of that I cleaned the recruiter connection and it worked better but did not drive at night. After cleaning the connextor i tested the voltage over the battery while running and was getting between 13.5 and 13.8. Had to use a jump box the next morning to start it.

So do I test at 1k rpm or 3k rpm?
