I would take a look if you didn’t skin a wire around the battery when you change it. Since your problem has started when you replace it.

Welcome from Colorado.
X-2 on a wire problem. You may have had the bad fuse with the old battery but did not find until the new battery was installed. Do you have an aftermarket accessory installed tapping into that circuit? or some hot connection came undone with a wire end now hanging.
Blipping the throttle might shake something around to change the way the bike acts/runs.
