Yamaha is putting that YXZ engine to use. Gotta love Boost. It'll be interesting to see how it stacks up against those lighter 2 strokes. 185hp ish out of the box, capable of 200hp, sounds like a hell of a ride.

Arctic Cat will be using this motor in the 2017 Wildcat sxs. I'd imagine Yamaha will be using it in a sxs as well.

It has beefed up internals compared to the standard yxz motor.

Maybe they'll offer a boosted model of the YXZ from the factory. It's too bad the YXZ is bred mostly for dune type riding and not mountain trails like where we live or else I'd have one already.
