Bruin 350 vent lines

Hi,

Just got a Bruin 350 2005 and I have a couple questions concerning the vent lines. I got one from the rear brake drum, one from the rear diff, one from the front diff and one from the carb with a T junction and both ends are going nowhere. All of them are not plugged anywhere.

Right now they're just hanging around the quad. Are they supposed to be plugged to another vent somewhere?

I also got the quad without ignition/battery, ain't good to start it with the crank and just run it like this? I have a battery/ignition on the way.
