2011 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS looking to do a clutch mod.
What are the recommendations? Going to run 26" SunF AO33's.
Do I even need a "complete" kit, slugs and springs for wet clutch?
Or just shims and springs for primary and secondary?

I suggest doing a 1.5mm shim. You can get a kit for about $10 off of eBay. This take away some top speed, but it will gain back the bottom end you loose, if you lose any.

Rule of Thumb (from what I’ve experienced): 1” increase in tire size dia. requires 0.75mm in shim to bring you back to stock torque. So, 26” tire: go 1.00mm or 0.75mm, 27” tire: go 1.5mm. ...This is a ballpark rule of thumb.

Hey...MDK..Welcome to GC from Wisconsin.
Start with one or two mods at a time. Add a 1.5mm shim ride it for a while. Then move on if you need more.
FYI Yamaha don't have primary springs

Nearly all tires are not true to size meaning most 26" tires will be 25- 25½" a few will be 26" maybe 26½"
A 700 will pull 26" tires without any problem.

Stay far far away from any wet clutch springs. They only cause excessive and premature wear of the wet clutch.
The only wet clutch modifications you should think about is slugs....and that's it. I highly recommend wet clutch slugs.

I have the slugs in my grizzly. I love them.
I don’t feel like the pre 2016 grizzlys need them as badly as the newer ones but they would still make your grizzly better at crawling.
I had a 2009 and it was Better at low speed crawling without slugs than my 2016 is with slugs. My 2016 is very close to the way the 2009 was, but it’s still not quite as good.
I had a Hunterworks machine sheave on the 2009 and I have one on the 2016.
