Elka shocks

Today I started to put my Elka stage 2 shocks on my 2021 Grizzly... Great looks

I remember that a member had an issue with the piggy back reservoir hitting the muffler. Hopefully that has be addressed by Elka. I think the guy had to notch the muffler.
Let us know how the rears mount up. Thanks.

The Elka website shows that the rear shock fits without modifying the muffler by installing the reservoir toward the rear of the machine.
Not sure why the other member couldn't make that work?

If I recall, it is the Barkers Dual exhaust that interferes with shocks that have external reservoirs.

Elka’s.. and a new set of 12”rim/27”rubber are about the only big upgrades I plan on doing to our Grizzly within the next 5years… and/or ever.

Other than that.. keepin’ her stock.

Please send us a review after the project hits the checkered.. and appreciate the DIY info/pics. They do look great!!

From Elka website
I had mentioned to the other member "can't you rotate the reservoir to the back" He said that he tried but the reservoir was hitting something that wouldn't allow it. He did have a stock muffler and post pictures of the notch and the welded repair.
