purchased 4 epi tie rod ends for my 450 awhile ago and went to replace one today and realized that they never came with the locking nuts. Of course while removing the end the nut that was on it rounded off and I had to use vice grips to get it off.can you buy just the lock nuts anywhere? i email epi and asked why they weren't supplied.i seen that other model atv tie rod ends on there site come with them.

Just take the old ones to any hardware store to match them up.

There is 2 different threads on the lock nuts, right hand thread and left hand thread. It all depends on what thread you need.
If it just the regular right hand thread, just get any nut that fits. It doesn't have to be the exact same size wrench, just needs the same threads.
The left hand thread but will be almost impossible to find. You'd be best to just get it from your dealer, or purchase it from any online Yamaha parts website.

Or just reinstall the nut you got. It doesn't matter if you have to use vise grips to tighten it. As long as its tight, your good to go.
