Last Thursday Blklab and myself loaded up our machines and headed out for a four hour ride to southwest MO to meet up with GC members RansomP {and friends} and rwrueter for a fall ride and camp out. What a great time!! The first day we hit the trails around 1 o'clock rode for several hours, came back cooked dinner over the camp fire then headed back out for a night ride. This is the first time I was able to trail test my Rigid Dully LED flood lights since I installed them this past winter and I am very happy with the performance of these lights! It was in the upper 70s that day and some of us were riding in t-shirts. The next two days the high was in the lower 40s and the lows were in the upper 20s!!

Over three days of trail riding we covered 160 miles or so. We rode in three different areas, Chadwick,Mark Twain National Forest and Glade Top. We had a variety of machines on the ride. It was a great time! Trail riding at it's best!

Breakfast stop on the way out!

First day of riding with some creek fun.

It was a steep drop off entering the creek.

Mike took a different approach with his sport quad!

Day Two Glade Top

On day two we trailered about 45 minutes south of Chadwick to the Glade Top area. This is a very scenic area.

About 40 miles south of this scenic outlook is Arkansas.

Here we are taking a break.

Whaaaat! Say it ain't so!!!! :grin2:

Hmmm, well let's see? He does look familiar but I don't think he would ride around the campground on that thing or would he??? Yep Ransom and Mike had a blast riding the little Honda 50's around camp. I want to say thanks to Ransom, Nick and the rest of the guys on this trip we had a great time. You have a great group of guy's you ride with that I would ride with anytime. And remind Nick he owes Phil a set of headlights and a paint job!!!! LOL Thanks again to all..:rocker:

I would have let out more cable for a side pull to the tree before letting that happen.

Thanks Blklab for taking those pictures and it400 for posting them up with the nice write up! We ride that area so much we take for granted how pretty things can be in the fall. For Ridgways benefit, you couldn't see very well because Phil (the blue POPO rider) had a helmet and goggles on but he was smiling from ear to ear having to pull Rob out of that mud! Then shortly after things went south in the mud! LOL!

I kinda like that little Z50 motorcycle. It was fun to cruise around on for sure. I wonder if I could get that thing to the top of Imogene? Think that thing would carry me to the top Ridgway? LOL! Might be time for a diet!

I bet never thought he would get to pull on a grizz, he can die happy now.
At first glace I thought that was another member on the stuck grizz, with the black helmet, low profile l.e.d. light up front and the big box on the back, but then I saw the stock tires on the grizz and knew that couldn't be.
Let this be a learn for those buying a grizz, you need a winch, O.G.'s and C.V.T. mods.
As for Imogene, before you try that let me find an insurance salesman to take out a new policy. I'll put $50 buck toward a policy betting on 'Ol Imogene', or for that matter 'Ol Poughkeepsie'. Is there a psychological exam I need you to pass first. That 50 cc engine in town would be down 30% to begin the run, and up top it would be like riding a 24 cc. I don't think you can shed that much weight.
