Finally got around to getting my Rigid LEDs hooked up

I have not properly introduced myself but the name is Sean and I’m from Chicago. Picked up my 2018 Grizzly LE last month and have finally got around to having the lights installed after getting my provantage plow system together. I’ll try to post a short video of the lights. Sorry it’s not that great but it shows the light locations.

Up front are 2 Rigid D-SS spots with amber lenses to cut through the snow.

In the wheel wells are rigid Radiance pods in Amber/White. They are connected with strobe functionality.

In the back is the rigid chase LED light which is wired into the tail light and brake lights. The courtesy light (similar to plate light) is wired into the tail light and comes on with the headlights. The strobe function is on its own switch and we were unable to find a ‘reverse’ wire to tap into for the reverse function.

I primarily plow with my ATVs. Just retired my 02 Grizzly 660 after quite a few seasons plowing. This will be used about 75% of the time to plow which is why I opted for strobe functionality. I come from being a Jeep owner and learned to appreciate the rigid LED lights for use at night. The radiance lights are tucked up high and mounted to the rack bolts so I don’t see tucking the wheels anywhere near them. The switches were installed on a piece of ABS plastic and hide inside the top storage box for a clean look. Overall I’m happy. Thoughts?

Looks good. I’m thinking about a chase light for dusty conditions. We ran into that on our last trip. Visibility was terrible.
Welcome to the forum! You've got some great lighting on that new Griz. Should be awesome for plowing. How wide is your plow?
Welcome to GC from Maine! That install looks awesome. I really like the switches under the lid. Pretty cool looking with all the strobes on, not to mention the safety factor when plowing.

Had the 54 inch on my 02 Grizzly so I opted to stay with that. City sidewalks are 60 inches and I didn’t want to max out on the sidewalks if my blade was straight. After getting it all mounted I see that I have a wider wheel base than I did on the 02 and some of that base is exposed. As for now, I’ll use the 54. I may buy a second blade in the future.

I bring my daughter with when I plow near the house so having the extra lights helps put me a bit more at ease... with that being said, Santa is bringing my daughter a Raptor 50 which has matching radiance LEDs and a Chase tail light. I don’t want any photos in my photo stream now but I’ll post a few after Christmas.

Sweet! Nice clean install! I picked up a 20” radiance light bar as well, haven’t wired it yet - but it’s nice to see the radiance in action on yours!

Santa delivered my daughter’s yfz50 with some Blue Rigid Radiance up front and the Rigid chase in the rear. Had hers wired up to strobe as well and it makes a huge difference having the lights on there. I wasn’t sure the Radiance would be that bright, because of their cost, but they do throw a lot of light.
