I have not properly introduced myself but the name is Sean and I’m from Chicago. Picked up my 2018 Grizzly LE last month and have finally got around to having the lights installed after getting my provantage plow system together. I’ll try to post a short video of the lights. Sorry it’s not that great but it shows the light locations.
Up front are 2 Rigid D-SS spots with amber lenses to cut through the snow.
In the wheel wells are rigid Radiance pods in Amber/White. They are connected with strobe functionality.
In the back is the rigid chase LED light which is wired into the tail light and brake lights. The courtesy light (similar to plate light) is wired into the tail light and comes on with the headlights. The strobe function is on its own switch and we were unable to find a ‘reverse’ wire to tap into for the reverse function.
I primarily plow with my ATVs. Just retired my 02 Grizzly 660 after quite a few seasons plowing. This will be used about 75% of the time to plow which is why I opted for strobe functionality. I come from being a Jeep owner and learned to appreciate the rigid LED lights for use at night. The radiance lights are tucked up high and mounted to the rack bolts so I don’t see tucking the wheels anywhere near them. The switches were installed on a piece of ABS plastic and hide inside the top storage box for a clean look. Overall I’m happy. Thoughts?
