Now that you "broke the seal" you will ride more. Better riding weather is on the way.

There's no dirt, mud or scratches showing, and I suggest adding a hook on the cable zip-tied to your bumper.
It should look like this when done :)

How do you like those Acerbis hand guards? That's in my list of purchases, I like how they look on yours.
I like them a lot out of all the choices there are I felt this is my best option. I like how they mount on the side of the bars and stay out of the way of everything else. Tapping it is easy but drilling it out takes a bit of time and you have to incrementally use different size drill bits until you get to the size large enough to tap.

I will put the hook back on when I'm done breaking it in. While breaking it in I hadn't planned on submerging it. I still need to relocate the breather and after it's done broke in I'm going to replace the drain plugs.
I bought this quad for more than just play, It's going to be put to work and I want to remove, replace or ADD all components that will give it its best chance beforehand.

I didn't know drain plugs wear out.
We have members show up with no experience so I mentioned the hook earlier.
Pictures of "best chance" will be interesting.

Be very careful in the cold aperantly the fenders shader mine flicked up some ice and passed right through the fender
Over the years we've had other members show pictures of circular holes like yours after a tree branch/stick came through the plastic.

Boooooooogeyman!
I find the fenders are very tough. After 10's of thousands of mile in mud, thick brush, clear cut slash. I've only poked a hole in one fender with a 3" tree limb. Our fenders are very beat up and scratched but only one broken.

Champ, maybe Yami switched polycarbonate manu recently.. strong well-made polycarbonate should not do that - but if you were in bone-breaking temps >>> stuff happens. Hope you get your fender soon - let us know if you do a DIY.

OP, I like your handguards.. I may do an exact add-on. Sorry, for copycat'n... but those are sweet. Been about 30years since I bought anything by Acerbis >>> makes me feel young again!! What model? (Did they fit flush???)

These Moose handguards fit fantastic.

No extra hardware required, great wind coverage, etc...

Thanx! Don't be sorry they're awesome handguards. for me these were the best options because they stay out of the way from all the cables and other crap on your handlebars. Yeah they sit pretty flush.
I've always used acerbis handguards because they just always seem to be the best quality. Here's the link.
