Designed a basic/sturdy mount for the GoPro. Kept it simple, as simple rarely breaks. Works like a charm. I'll see if I can host some videos on my server and post. I really like the connected feel this mount gives.






I'll post the link when I upload to thingiverse for anyone with a printer, be happy to make a few for anyone without.

I have a couple small tweaks, but overall I'm pretty stoked. It removed the fears of a branch taking out another GoPro+mount. Gonna try putting it on the rail right up front today and see how that looks.

Ultimately I'd love to get a "third person" type deal, right above and behind the drivers head. Have that ATV Offroad fury feel to vids. 馃槀 #winterprojects

When I first bought a camera I mounted it on top of my helmet. Then a tree branch nearly pulled me backwards off the the Griz. That 3M tape is amazing stuff.
I moved it to the front rack the next day.
