I know many people have replaced Kodiaks with Grizzly clutch weights. But has anyone replaced grizzly clutch weights with Kodiaks weights or others to calm the snappiness down a little bit? Just curious.
Starting from a standing stop all weights pull the same, and heavier weights will move sooner and bog down the system with a lower pulley ratio at low engine r.p.m.'s.
Raising the ratio by adding shim or machining will improve the throttle response for more forgiving control at low speed.
