Its a 97 Kodiak 400 and stock. The electric start turns the motor over but it won't fire up , but one pull on the rope start it fires right up and runs great. Any ideas appreciated.... Haven't tore into it just yet and wanting to get some info first.

Guess i should have put out more info....Sorry....I have had battery tender on and battery is at full charge, 12.6 volts showing on tester.....
Are your battery posts/terminals clean and free of oxidation? Sometimes that can cause problems with delivering the proper amount of amps for cranking.
Do a search on here, there was a guy that had the same problem but I can't remember what was the cause.
