Anyone installed one of these pipes and had to put more heat tape on then supplied? ( For left rear fender near silencer inlet)

Just wondering now that silencer heat shield is completely gone, will it be too hot near fuel tank and other platics?

Just looking for others experience.

A multi million dollar company likely wouldnt market a product that would just cause damage to the machine said product is marketed for. Thats a good way to turn into just a million dollar company lol.

I agree, they do supply a 1/2" spacer for the mounting bolt, for if you need clearance from bumper.

Mine bolted up far better with stock mounting as far as gasket contact goes, so I went with it that way.
