Wife is wanting to get out of California. I think she has decided on Nampa/ Boise area... Found a few nice places in Emmett too. My issue is finding work for the both of us close enough to home. SO my question are if I were to live in this area what is job availability like & commuting during winter is it normally possible? Currently I drive for a tow company & my wife is an animal control officer. I can do just about anything mechanical & she wants to work with animals.

From what I have found so far it looks like the riding is good, just need a couple new riding buddies.

I live in Nampa and there is a ton of places to ride without the CA non-sense. You just have to have a license plate for off road and the cost is minimal. I and another guy do a lot of riding in the Owyhee area south of here (25 minutes away). There are hundreds of miles of trails all over the state. You can ride on the forest roads without issues. You have to have turn signals and horn to ride the street though.
