New Grizzly

Earlier this year I traded my 2014 Grizzly in on a Kawasaki KLR Duel Sport Bike. Love the bike and still have it. Rode it out to the east coast through New England and back into New Brunswick in July. Was not planning on getting another ATV but I miss the great trails we have here in eastern Ontario. Was looking around quite a bit and at one point was seriously considering a 2018 King Quad SE in Flat Black. I came across a brand new 2016 Grizzly in Green still in a box at a small dealership in my area at a fantastik price so will be picking it up Friday. Comes with a Warn adv 3000 lb Winch. Just adding heat demon warmers for the time being.

Now I gotta update my signature block...

Congrats on your deal, enjoy the griz.
Nice find.
Make sure the decompression spring recall (serial number related, make sure yours has it done if required) and 4wd switch recall has been completed before you take ownership of it.
Awesome, have a ball!
Wow....that was quick, enjoy the ride and do check on that spring and switch. Gotta love small dealers.
Congrats on the brand spank'n new Grizz!
Thanx guys. Will post lots of pics once I get out on the trails again.

Hey Dave!!
Hopefully one of these days I will make my way to your neck of the woods and hit some trails with you.
I have only been out once near Smiths Falls and itching to get out again.

Ok, here she is at Home in Palmer Rapids Ontario. A couple of days ago I had let the dealer know about the Air filter not sealing, the diff Lock Switch and the Decompression spring. Did a very complete inspection with the mechanic covering all the known issues people have been talking about with the 16's. My Grizzly had been in a crate for two years and the tech said that the Air filter was bone dry at the end where it seals to the housing but we took it out and he showed me that he properly oiled and sealed it. No way any dust is getting past that. The Diff Lock switch had been fixed and and decompression spring replaced under Tech Bulletins. The owner explained to me that recalls are only safety related items. Anything else like the diff Lock switch is a Tech Bulletin and the work has to be done and documented Before the machine can even be registered. I have copies of the Tech Bulletins on those mentioned items showing that the work was done at the dealership. I asked the tech and the owner if any tech bulletins were out about the valves causing some oil burning and they said there was nothing on that nor had they any machines come in for work about that.

Happy with all that, I loaded her up onto my trailer and brought her home. Ten minutes after I got her off the trailer, we were ripping along the beautiful north shoreline of the Madawaska River as seen in the pics below. Did about 25 kms but am doing a full day riding Sunday. This is my 2nd Grizzly, coming off a 2014 Se in Stealth Black. I really like the Green. Leaving the stock tires and wheels for now. I will have a better idea how they handle rougher/muddier trails on Sunday but I think they will be fine for my riding. Today was mostly some dirt back roads and easy trail. I don't care if they made a grizzly with a 2000cc engine, I would still buy this one. I think the power is just right.

Congrats!
Hey Dave.
Wish I could have made it today. Turkey dinner day with the family.
Yea I bought a nearly new 2015 Grizzly in the spring. It had 194 km on it.
I've gotten out a couple times on it and am hoping to get out more this fall.
Hope you had a great day.
