Folks,
I have had a grizzly since 2009, looked around several times, but never did join Grizzly Central.
I owned a 1998 600 Grizzly for about nine years. A friend of mine owned a dealership and took it in on a trade in. A farmer used it, obviously a cattle farmer. There was lots of evidence of this on the 600. After about 5 pressure washes, I could see it needed new A-arms, front wheel bearings, Brake pads, brake bleeding, and clearance in the valve train. I would only run a few seconds when I first got it.
After lots of time, cleaning the carb, air filter, etc. it ran decent and I used it to push snow for years. I never went on a real trail ride in all those years, just used it for yard work.
Now that I have a new Grizzly, I am looking forward to doing some trail riding on some real trails. I am a couple of hours from the Hatfield-McCoy system and there is a new riding area at the West Virginia/ Virginia border at Glen Lyn Virginia that will be looking better next year when it starts warming up again.
