Welcome to GC. As stated, there should be a screw. I don't know if you have to remove the knob first on that model but if so, it should just pull off.

You can remove the carb without taking the tank off. I never even thought to take the tank off. Have you found this the easiest way to do it?

tank removal

Actually, the reason I'm taking tank off is that it's acting like I have a fuel pump going out.I've been on internet for over three weeks trying to find out if I have one or not.Ive had dealer mechanics tell me there is a fuel pump and there is not a fuel pump.If there is, it should be under the tank.ATV parts companies even sell a fuel pump for a 2002 yamaha grizzly 660 49.95$.Well there isn't one,but tank looks kind of grimmy so I thought I'd clean it before installing new carb. Thanks for the help!

My vote was for gravity fed and no pump.

Well I can tell you without a doubt the Grizzly 660 does not have a fuel pump. It is gravity fed only.

The Rhino 660 on the other hand does. Someone may get this mixed up and think the Grizzly 660 has one too.
