Does anybody capture your GPS data when going on rides? i particularly like long rides, somtimes 3 days at a time in the forest with everything i need. here is a ride i did with the eastern sierra ATV jamboree last june. you will need to have the .KMZ or .GPX file from your device so it can be imported into google earth and upload it to google drive so you can just post the link on here to the file.

Wow, that's awesome. How many days/miles was that?

Another cool then about uploading to Google Earth is the "tour" feature.
It flies you over the entire route from the beginning to the end.

Hey..doulos..I'm looking for places to ride this winter. Cant' read names/labels on the map. Where abouts is this area? Can't it be ridden in Jan-Feb?
Will you have to kill me if you tell me of this secret place?

No. It was all public land and was part of the guided eastern Sierra ATV jamboree.

everytrail.com is a great site for gps mapping and trip sharing. you can upload pics too, and they will place the photos based off of the timestamp in the photo and where your gps says you were at that time. pretty cool.

Meadow Lake California. I haven't been there in the winter so don't know about how much snow they get if any.

That was an all day ride... I think about 75 miles through a mixture of terrain. Stopped in the town of Washington for an burger and a couple beers.
