Agree, they’re not in an ideal spot for that rear guard I’m looking at. I’d rather not obscure the blinkers for the times I am in traffic. I live in a college town, so plenty of drivers that aren’t all that great. Unfortunately I can’t really get my hands on one of these bars without buying it first.

I didn't go with the heated seat.....I already have an extra layer of fat there, lol. But I do use one of the extra channels on the Heat Demon for their heated boot insoles. I run the "Y" wire up my pant leges and a coiled extension out my fly to plug into the controller. Works great when hunting as I can wear lighter boots. When I am off the machine walking, that keeps my feet warm then when I get on the machine, the heater keeps them warm for the long ride back to camp.

I wouldn't want my death certificate to record something like what you've got going on, ending with 'died by electric shock', or 'hanging' or 'strangulation'.
Don't forget to unplug from the Griz to walk to the stand, something about 'coiled Y wire' could be hazardous.

Can post the headlines I'm imagining.
With the headlines reporting

A.T.V. RIDER THROWN FROM MACHINE, WIRED FROM 'FLY' TO MACHINE?
The N.T.S.B. is investigating the crash of an A.T.V. and rider being thrown clear.
Evidence shows the rider seems to have jumped from the machine just before
hitting a tree, and may have forgot to unplug comfort wiring.
Witnesses report the rider looking like a calf on the end of a rope tied to a horse,
WARNING: the following pictures are very.......

You all know that if we ever get caught out in the cold with frozen toes, Duso02 is going to flip us the bird as he flies by with toasty warm feet. Just sayin. Duso02...this is all in good fun;) My feet (and hands) actually do get cold very easily and I've had some miserable rides for that reason.

Ok, let me see if I can get this thread back on topic:)

Every Grizz needs an air compressor and a battery jumper, especially if you're headed out into the backcountry. I'm a sucker for products made in the USA, Canada, and other countries with the chops for quality manufacturing. So, I found a really cool little air compressor called the CyclePump. What can I say...it's simply badass. So badass, I couldn't even take a picture of it without a proper background:

It came with a 10' power cable, which I decided to cut off and add a plug in its place so I could pair it with the battery jumper that I bought.

This way I can power the pump off the Antigravity XP-1 jumper. Since this little jumper has a 12v out, it was perfect for this purpose. Here they are strapped together (the CyclePump just happened to have a velcro strap already in place that worked just right):

A little wiring wiring and the two mated up perfectly:

And if I need the 10' power cable, I can just remove the banana plug and use it as it was originally designed.

The pair fit right back into the pouch that came with the CyclePump and it lives in the Grizzly's "gas tank" storage.

That's a really nice compact little setup. Very nice! So it makes together and still fits in the original bag. One little heads up though, you might want to find a different place to store it. The lithium battery that's in it does not like heat. Heat does more damage to lithium batteries. Then the cold. I ruined one of my lithium jumper packs by leaving it in that center storage area. It gets way too hot , I can't count how many times my phone has shut off by leaving it in there lol

Yup, still fits in the original bag.

That’s a good point on the heat. I haven’t had the Grizz that long and it’s been winter, but I do remember pulling out a granola bar and finding it completely melted. I’ll relocate to one of my storage boxes during warmer months.

Couple years ago on vacation I put two McDonald's cheeseburgers in that center storage around 8:00 in the morning and forgot about them. When we stopped for lunch around 1:30 I went to pull out my phone charger from the storage and saw the cheeseburgers and I was like. Oh yeah lol pulled them out. The cheese was all melty. It was like they had just came off the grill. They were still really warm. It was awesome! Two cheeseburgers and two ice cold beer from the cooler for lunch all before my buddies had our bbq lunch cooked.

That’s pretty funny 🤣. Was thinking maybe I should insulate the center storage, but you just changed my mind.

Since we’re on the topic of food, do you guys have any favorite ways of cooking/grilling when out on the trail? Open fire is always nice, but maybe a compact gas burner? Gotta have my coffee in the mornings for overnight trips too!

Yup, small gas camping stove with 2 burners. Comes in handy when there's very little dry wood around or if there's a fire ban due to extreme dry conditions. My buddy mounts an old laundry detergent jug on his rear rack full of water for washing hands and rinsing cooking utensils. Just press the button and the water comes out the spout that's sticking out past the rack. Thought that was awesome.

Aside from a small butane tank this seems to be about as small as you can get

For food warming.. might be able to leverage a snowmobile exhaust cooker but might a lot messier since mount area is relatively clean on a sled and there could be clearance issues

A heated seat is a project I've been considering for a while and know that a pneumatic or powered stapler is pretty much required to set the staples correctly into the seat plastic. Which specific staple type (T50?) and size did you use?

Looks good by the way!
I've actually recovered several seats with a simple spring type stapler I picked up from Lowes. As long as you out firm pressure it has no problem driving the staples all the way and flush with the surface.
