The rear rack on the 350 is not identical to, but similar in size to the rear rack on my 450. I have a similar trunk and it fits easily.

I've used a similar style box, can't remember the brand, and it works well.
I have mine attached with u-bolts to the rack.
The box you're looking at requires you to open the lid(s) from the back, but does have the hand holds, the lids on my box hinge from the rear so I can stay seated and open the box while seated on the grizz.

That box should work fine as long as it's bolted to rack using u bolts as mentioned already. U should also get a set of fender protectors with adjustable foot pegs to help him stay in the seat. Like these for an example

That will work fine. They generally come with the u-bolts and backing plates for mounting. Definitely get the fender guards with adjustable footrests. Any passenger needs a place to brace their feet for safety and it's much easier on their back, even a 6 year old. The rear seat/box I have is very similar to that one, except it has a shelf with a strap for a 2-1/2 gallon gas can, or a cooler. You give up a little storage in the middle, but for me anyway it's worth it. It's awesome that you are going to take the little guy fishing, riding, etc. These will be the best of times for you. Good luck and have fun!

I had a very similar seat/box and it worked great with 5' 6" 110 lbs passenger so it should handle a 6 year old.
