I was just curious if anyone knew a way to remove the light spots that plastic fenders sometimes get when stressed in a way they weren't intended to be. I've attached some photos here.

Don't really want to paint it but wasn't sure if anyone had found a way to bring back the original color once this happens. Maybe with a heat gun or some type of chemical or polish? Any ideas?

Thanks!

After reading a bit more, I found some folks talking about removing these stress marks with a heat gun or torch. That sound about right?

I've heard about the heat option and watched YouTube videos in the past about it. Haven't tried it though.

Light car polish will smooth things out, done it on mine. Go easy on a spot first and move foward with more speed or more aggressive polish.
