When im driving down the trail in (H) High range, my (R) reverse light on the dash comes on also, so the (H) and (R) are lite up at the same time and the engine cuts out for a few seconds, then the (R) will turn off and it will run fine for a little while then it will happen all over again, doesnt matter what speed im going the (R) will come on and off at anytime and the engine cuts out. Can anyone tell me why and how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

The reverse sensor is bad. It is on the left side of atv behind the motor and kinda looks like a spark plug. You can un clip it and ground the wire out and it will run fine. But be careful in reverse cause there will be no limiter now... or get a new sensor...

Yes if it is the sensor also it will eliminate the light for the reverse on dash. If it is only cutting out once in a while just get it prepped for the mod.. Take a piece of wire and connect it to a engine bolt for the ground out and on the other end put a male bullet connector , then when it starts cutting out stop and unplug the sensor and connect it to the male bullet connector and it should cure your problem.. But remember the limiter in reverse will be gone...................
