Shock problems already

Hey guys I finally pulled the trigger and bought my Grizzly 700 2018 ! I love it ,put almost a thousand ice screws and on glare ice this thing rides like I'm on pavement ! :yeahbaby01:
Anyhow ,i was pulling my ice hut sleigh and it jackknifed and the rear tire sucked the tung into the fender ripping a small gash in my plastics and bending one of my shocks!:surprise: So the question is will other shocks work that might be actually better than stock , its hard to appreciated any info as its so new , would 2017 or 16 work?

Does anybody have a solution to ripped plastics ,welding or patching?
Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Here's your rear shock part numbers for 2018

P.S. This website is awsome for part numbers and year to year parts compatibility.
New shock (overpriced) or take this opportunity to upgrade to Elka shocks. More money for a set but your shock drama is over with. There’s been several reports of issues with 2016+ shocks developing leaks. Not sure if 2018’s are affected.

If ya go the Elka route, post pics so I can live vicariously through you.
