2018 kodiak 450 acting a little sluggish.Justin did my first oil change in it about a week ago. And just doesn't seem to have the pep I that use to. Was told to have the valves adjusted.

If you just did your first oil change it should not need a valve adjustment already. Check to see if you have a break that is dragging.

Yamaha lube. I'm sure it's not the oil it seems to be more fuel related . I'm going to get some fresh fuel and plug.and go from there

What kind of oil did you use? It matters.
And is the sluggishness like low power, or a slipping clutch.
An oil with friction modifiers will prevent a wet clutch from locking up.
I don't know if there are different yamalubes, some with modifies for different machines.

It's not the belt I know what belt slip feels like. I'm rebuilding my 700 grizzly complete clutch system,no more belt slip for this guy
