Solenoid fuse keeps popping

Help! My husband and I are trying to fix this big bear. We’ve already changed the battery and the solenoid but we’ve realized that the fuse in the solenoid pops when we connect it to the battery like it’s supposed to. I don’t know how to figure out if it’s the starter or a bad wire. How do we figure it out? There is no power to anything

Undo the wire to the starter BEFORE you put in a new fuse, if the fuse doesn't pop, then you have a starting point maybe the starter is bad. Also check the big wire from the solenoid to the starter to make sure it's not chaffed and shorting out on the frame somewhere. Goof luck.

Welcome from Colorado.X-2 on above and.....
Do a continuity test on the wiring to determine if there is a rubbed wire grounded, if so then the trick is to find the area needing repair.
He can get a f.s.m. from our member at 501parts.com
Skinned or burnt wire grounding out (touching metal or another wire) double check all wires and cables.
