Well I got the new carb on.It starts and idles fine ,when I give it gas it spits and sputters. Is there a fuel or air adjustment screw,is there one for fuel and one for air or just one? where would it be?After a few minutes of warming up,it seemed to be running fine so I took off riding, made it about 50 yards and same old problem,it acted like it was running out of fuel.New carb ,clear fuel line, new filter! CONFUSED and PUZZELED!!!!!

There should be a single adjustment on the carb, called a pilot needle (not to be confused with the pilot jet), usually at the bottom of the carb. It should be set a certain amount of turns from seated position. On a stock 660 OEM carb it's around 2-3/4 to 3 turns out (if I remember correctly).

Have you verified float height before installing the carb? This could give you similar results as you got now.
