My grizzly has been hard to start, misfires, stalls oil in radiator but not using water or over heating so before i commit to a tear down i needed to be sure so here's what i done cut up the old spark plug just where the insulator meets the hex removed the insulator ground off the earth electrode and welded an airline fitting to it find a thin screw driver that will go thru it by about 50mm - 2" now screw in the adaptor turn the motor over till its coming up on compression stroke using the screwdriver down thru adaptor feel for the piston to go just past TDC not before TDC not on TDC or when you feed air in it will turn the motor over now that your just past TDC lock the engine useing breaker bar and socket down thru steel foot rest bracket as in pic now with radiator full and cap off connect air compressor and if head gasket leaking you will have water running out of the radiator.

A leak down test will reveal several other engine issues
bad valves bad, valve guides, bad rings, bad pistons, bad cylinder.

Just listen to where the air is coming out.
